Basic Principles

Me
I study and teach Alexander Technique, t'ai chi and mindfulness meditation.
Each of these disciplines helps me to understand my habits of body and mind -- how I create those habits and perpetuate them, and how those habits affect me for better or worse. As I understand those habitual thoughts and actions, I am able to make choices that lead me to greater ease and less pain.
I study the habits that constrain me because I'm interested in freedom. I sing and lead vocal improvisation because what's the point of freedom if you don't have fun with it?
